Life can be a whirlwind sometimes, especially the hectic summer months!
As this busy season winds down, I often find myself feeling… well, not really myself…
With the fun of summer activities comes the impossibility of sticking to any type of routine, especially a regular workout routine.
And a lack of movement often leaves me feeling very disconnected.
As I type this I am reflecting on the last time I actually worked out… over 2 weeks ago to be honest.
But that’s just how it goes sometimes. And rather than sitting here frustrated at myself for not sticking with a routine, I’m working to reframe my thoughts.
I can’t go back in time and add more workouts into my summer schedule (and honestly, I had an epic summer of travel so I really wouldn’t exchange that for anything). But what I CAN do, is choose to commit to something now.
As this season winds down and my schedule clears up a bit, I am ready to get back to a routine.
And I always find that the easiest way to jump back into regular movement is to create a plan and commit to it!
